Metrolina Coalition of Nurse Practitioners NEW WEBSITE HAS LAUNCHED Please visit the new site http://www.metrolinanp.org The Metrolina Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (MCNP) organization is a regional affiliate of the Council of Nurse Practitioners (CONP’s) within the North Carolina Nurses’ Association (NCNA). Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, all local and regional nurse practitioners (NP’s) are welcome no matter what their area of specialty/work is. We encompass all Practice in our organization from pediatric to geriatric, psych, women’s health, ACNP’s, the majority being FNP’s. We have approximately 150 members. Members who are University Professors, members who are involved in research, others who have published articles, written books or are guest lecturer’s/speakers throughout the U.S. Our goal is to promote collegiality amongst our peers while providing opportunity for continuing education. MCNP provides monthly educational meetings, and a two-day seminar in the fall. Students and new NP’s to the Metrolina area are welcome to our meetings.
